Trane - City of Industry

Trane is looking to hire engineers with 5 years of experience with expertise in energy modeling, analysis of non-residential buildings, and monitoring & verification to support Trane’s third party Southern California Edison (SCE) energy efficiency programs for commercial office buildings, retail facilities and K-12 schools. 

Trane needs engineers to perform energy audits, prepare feasibility studies and develop monitoring & verification plans as required by Southern California Edison for the programs.

Qualifications and experience:

  • 5 years experience in energy engineering
  • Gather and analyze utility data for use in building models
  • Understanding and application of SCE rate structures in building energy models
  • Experience modeling and applying Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs)
  • Understanding and application of Title 24 in modeling non-residential building systems, both small and large
  • Perform engineering calculations and building design and energy analysis in Trane’s Trace 700 or other modeling programs such as eQuest or Energy Pro for energy efficiency and demand response
  • Professional Engineer desired
  • C.E.M or C.E.A. desired
